When you use FareDip, we only collect:

• Your email address for account creation and notifications
• Flight booking information you provide (confirmation numbers, passenger names)
• Gmail filter settings when you connect your Google account for automatic flight email forwarding (optional)

We Never Sell Your Data

We promise that we will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data stays with us and is only used to provide you with our flight tracking services. This includes any data received from Google APIs, which is subject to additional restrictions under Google's Limited Use policy.

How We Keep Your Data Safe

We have many security measures in place to protect your information:

• Your passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text
• We use secure servers with regular security updates
• Access to your data is strictly limited to necessary operations
• We regularly monitor our systems for any security issues

Your Flight Information

When you add flight bookings to track:

• We only access the flight data you explicitly provide
• We check for price changes to save you money

Google Account Data

Connecting your Google account is entirely optional. You choose whether to enable email forwarding, and you can disconnect your Google account at any time.

If you opt in:

• FareDip uses the Gmail API solely to create an email filter that forwards flight-related emails to FareDip
• We do not read, store, or analyze your email content through the Gmail API
• Emails forwarded by the filter are processed exclusively to detect flight bookings, changes, and cancellations
• We do not share, transfer, or disclose Google user data to any third parties
• Google account connections use OAuth 2.0 with encrypted tokens. We never access or store your Google password

Data Retention and Deletion

• Google OAuth tokens are retained only while your account is active and your Google account is connected
• You can disconnect your Google account at any time, which revokes FareDip's access and deletes stored tokens

Google API Limited Use Disclosure

FareDip's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Email Communications

We only send you emails about:

• Price drops on your tracked flights
• Important account notifications
• Important system updates

You can unsubscribe from notifications at any time through your account settings.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Update or correct your information
• Delete your account and all associated data

Cookies

We use minimal cookies only to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We don't use tracking cookies or share cookie data with advertisers.
